CHINESE RESOURCES

The following guides offer a user-friendly introduction to basic filmmaking and participatory video techniques. They are designed to be used as a starting point for individuals or groups who are interested in exploring filmmaking and/or practicing their skills. Although much of the information is intended for beginners or non-filmmakers, the exercises are comprehensive, and appropriate for individuals at any skill level.

We can only take small credit for the knowledge contained within. Many of the ideas and exercises are drawn from other terrific resources including Insightshare's Participatory Video Handbook, Ilisa Barbash and Lucien Taylor's Cross-Cultural Filmmaking, and Michael Rabiger's Directing the Documentary.
